Very well equipped kitchen (down to the orange juicer). Very effective air conditioning. Fabulous terrace to watch the views/sunsets). Comfortable beds with good quality sheets.

As a Uruguayan living in Sweden, I always take my vacations in Uruguay. Due to the pandemic that has become impossible, so I wanted to pick a country with a coastline towards the Atlantic and Portugal was the perfect match. I had already visited the Algarve last year and knew I wanted to live in a rural location between Aljezur and Odeceixe, so Rogil was what I was looking for. If you really, really want tranquility and peace of mind Herdade de Vagem is truly the place for you. The silence, the closeness to amazing nature like the beach of Praia do Vale dos Homes, the small country roads and friendly people. You have it all here. The host was very attentive and responsive to messages during my stay. As I was coming with food that would have otherwise been spoiled, I was allowed to check in earlier as there were no previous guests. The apartment was simply perfect for me in size. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen perfect in size. The week I stayed simply flew away. In one way or another I will come back, that is for sure.

Abacatus Farmhouse in Tavira provides adults-only accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. We loved staying at Abacatus Farmhouse. The pool was great. It was easy to find using google maps, a short drive into Tavira, and to Tavira Island. Our suite had everything we needed, very comfortable. Sani is an excellent host who provided a delicious breakfast and was very helpful with everything we needed.

Boasting garden views, BeGuest Casas de Taipa provides accommodation with terrace, around 8.7 km from Slide & Splash Water Park. Everything was just lovely and a great place for our dog with the fenced garden area

D07 - Torraltinha Villa in Lagos has a terrace and is located in Lagos, within just 1 km of Praia do Pinhão and 1 km of Batata Beach. Townhome was in nice quiet part of Lagos, with private parking spot right in front. Large 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms, nice living room area with adjacent front patio leading to blooming rose garden and other flowers. Large kitchen with separate dining area. In back was a large private terrace with BBQ.

Home Village, a property with barbecue facilities, is situated in Vila do Bispo, 35 km from Aljezur Castle, 45 km from Algarve International Circuit, as well as 10 km from Fortress of Sagres. Perfect little retro house with very sunny balcony. Very comfy beds. Plenty of everything needed to self cater. Perfect retreat for tired hikers . In old town near all the restaurants and hiking trails. Beautiful view of surrounding countryside from balcony. Easiest one of the nicest places we stayed on our 9 stays for the hike. Easy self check in . Sofa bed downstairs is more private than other sofa bed options are the main house is upstairs so feels like a separate bedroom . Owners also made up a single bedroom upstairs which was a bonus . Photos don’t do it justice . It’s a great house at a good price . Thanks for having us

Featuring a garden, barbecue facilities and views of inner courtyard, O Nosso Lar is set in Lagos, 16 km from Santo António Golf Course. Super nice and very accommodating host. The location is very quiet and safe despite a car repair shop around the corner. There is a washing machine(!) and lots of table games. The kitchen has all the basics and some extra like bio vinegar and olive oil. We were very comfortable there.

Located in Tavira, 7.5 km from Island of Tavira and 42 km from Church of São Lourenço, Casa Família Cardoso provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. This was a beautifully decorated, functional, fully equipped and very clean apartment. We loved our stay and wish we had booked for longer. Our hosts were friendly and helpful.

Offering barbecue facilities and quiet street view, Biscuttela Vicentina is situated in Praia da Arrifana, 500 metres from Arrifana Beach and 7.5 km from Aljezur Castle. The hosts brought clean towels in the middle of the week and we also got treated with pastel de natal

Located within 13 km of Island of Tavira and 41 km of Church of São Lourenço, Quinta dos Netos provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tavira. Beautiful location, about 10 mins drive from Tavira, extremely peaceful surroundings. The house we had was great both in terms of the house itself and the beautiful private pool, but also in terms of the quality and tasteful furnishings. It had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday, including great mattresses, towels, cleaning supplies etc. And the common areas were also lovely, with a kids playground, bbq, and complementary beer. We were only sorry we could not stay longer. Definitely recommend.
