Incredible place to visit! We arrived here after Paris and I could have spent so much more time here. We rode e-bikes through the smaller villages, wine tasted, strolled through town, visited the Hospice - something I almost did not do and I am SO glad I did! This town is incredibly charming, easy to get to and an absolute must! I am already dreaming about returning.

For those who love HISTORY , good food and fabulous wines,...
For those who love HISTORY , good food and fabulous wines, Bourgogne is the place to visit , and Beaune is the largest city in the area.
To make burgundy wine, you need special soils , and exposition to the sun at certain moments of the day.
That part of France had différent owners, at the time of CHARLES QUINT ( the fifth) was built "Les Hospices de Beaune".
Now it belongs to France, since a few centuries.
At that time, and it is partly true to-day, Churches, Monasteries ,were protecting people in case of war or illness ,and were the only school, as well .
With their magnificent coloured tiled roofs, their architecture, their furniture, their Museum, Les Hospices de Beaune are UNIQUE in the world !

Interesting walled town with cobbled streets and old buildings worth a look, particularly the iconic hospices de Beaune with its unusual roof tiles. A decent selection of bars and restaurants around and off the main square. Town easily accessible from the autoroute.

This is a Beautiful place!!
This is a Beautiful place!! And if you stay within the Ring road, everything is mere minutes walking distance. If you are a wine lover at all, this NEEDS to be on your bucket list!
A couple of things to be aware of: Accommodations vary Wildly in price and comfort, so shop around! Eating out in Beaune is extremely expensive, so if you are on a budget, a place with your own kitchen can be a great choice. Check out the local operating hours...they run differently than just about anywhere else I have been! And come prepared to walk...public transport here is not as readily available as other places in France!

Great town for a break from the bigger cities.
Great town for a break from the bigger cities. Plenty of history and intersting things to do and see. The old walled part of the town was fascinating with plenty of excellent restauruants and bars as well as places of interest. We walked the wall and it was a great way to get a perspecitve on the old town.
Just a few minutes by car into Beaune or a 30 minute walk thro the glorious countryside. The new house and garden have been very thoughtfully put together and to a high standard, showing the personal input of the owners at every stage. Like a 5 star hotel in terms of comfort and furnishings and far superior to most local hotels. Excellent reception by the owners who run a successful wine merchants in town, demonstrated by the choice of bottles in the specialist wine fridge. We will be back in the summer. Even in November, it was special.
This historic building is creatively reimagined as a domicile. It is magical. We stayed a night but wish it had been 3 as there is a fair amount to explore around the area
It’s right in the heart of town. You will have to self park and it’s about $20usd for 24 hours.
Make sure to make a reservation at the wine bar below. They have a 50 page wine list and their tapas menu rocked. The charcuterie and eggs were the best meal I had in France
We booked this apartment as a stop off whilst driving through France. Very nice apartment in an old French building, just outside the main part of Beaune, which is a lovely town. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre. We liked that there is secure private parking at the apartment. The apartment is well equipped and very spacious. The host Cyril is very nice and took the time to explain where everything was in town.
We stayed one night (a party of four) and this beautiful historic hotel was a big hit with everyone. We received a very warm welcome, enjoyed good wine in the vaulted stone lobby, and absolutely loved our spacious, comfortable rooms. There's even more to the suites than what you can see in the pictures, and it was so quiet we weren't sure if there were any other guests. Location is perfect for exploring Beaune.
The right place to sleep overnight on the drive through A6 motorway. Good value for money, clean and nice, good soundproof, nothing bad to say. Not to close to the motorway itself, no noise from the street. Kyriad is the only hotel chain in France providing decent buffet breakfast worth its money. Secure free parking next to the entrance.
Very friendly staff. Hotel was really nicely maintained, clean & better standing that ibis budget. The bunk bed was ready for use, unlike ibis budget. Some rooms are better than others though. The bathroom is small, just like all hotels in this category.
I really recommend this hotel to any body who is looking for a budget hotel.
This was the best B and B Breakfast I had in all of France. Everything was good, the food was cooked to order if and as you liked, and, in the words of our son, "this is the best cup of coffee I've ever had!" Nadine was the perfect host, and her help was priceless throughout our stay at La Maison Blanche.
Stopped off on route to south of France to visit family. Stopped for one night so wanted something reasonable where we could stay in one room. Was perfect with kitchen facilities and bedroom and pull out bed - balcony - lots of room and friendly staff
The hotel is relatively convienently located near Beaune oldtown with a large parking area. Rooms are basic, though decent (simple budget class business hotel). The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was decent.
Location was excellent
Shower was best of all hotels we stayed in during our trip
Bed was comfortable and roomy enough (for European accommodations)
Price was reasonable
Air conditioning was excellent since we were on the top floor
Lovely clean hotel, convenient for motorway. Breakfast was good. Evening meal was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and very efficient. Would definitely return, perfect hotel to stop on way to/back from South of France.
Value for money, good beds, fantastic view to the burgundy vineyards. Silence at night.
Quality pillows.
Even bathroom is very heated. Bathtub!
Free parking in front of your door.
Very kind staff.
The most remarkable new hotel in Beaune. Modern design, fully equipments, tea, coffee, luxury amenities, indoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Fabulous, large parking. Tasty breakfast.
Good budget hotel chain. Easy to find on the outskirts of Beaune. Excellent check-in process with friendly staff. Room small but comfy. Shower powerful and hot!
