We stayed for 2 weeks and everything was excellent - the staff and service were the best I have come across. So friendly and always wanting to help. We had such a good time in Zanzibar and the hotel played a big part. Thank you Canary Hotel team!!

Wow, the best holiday ever :-) We liked the breakfast and restaurant. Fresh food, happy staff, nice juices and funny dog Bambisha around. We miss you already :-) Nice experience with bush baby in the night. When we ate dinner, the staff showed us a bush baby on the coconut tree. We were very happy to see something unique in Zanzibar. We book Deluxe Room for 2 people with nice ocean view. Also close to the pool. The room was clean, we don't have any complain. The hotel has laundry service, also it helped us a lot :-) Thank you Z-Lodge, soon we will come back!

Hotel was amazing, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic and the swim up bar is awesome. Beautiful views and located right on the beach.

Babalao Bungalows has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Nungwi. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a terrace and a bar. The bungalows are located in a great location which is just around the corner from the beach. They offer a delicious breakfast and a good variety of food if you want to have dinner, like us, in the evening without having to leave the place. If you need any help to arrange things, the owners will take good care of you to make sure you have a great stay!

Mahali Zanzibar er í Paje, Zanzibar, og er með einkaströnd, útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið og ókeypis WiFi. Hótelið býður upp á sólarverönd og útsýni yfir hafið. Spacious and clean rooms with great sea view. Helpful and hospitable staff and owners. Good, well-maintained facilities and a lovely pool. Breakfast is 'a la carte', starting with a fruit platter and continuing with a great variety of options. There was no restriction - you could order everything you liked from the menu. Hotel was very helpful in arranging our transportation to/from Zanzibar ferry terminal (it is strongly recommended to book a taxi through the hotel, as it is much cheaper and safer than any 'driver' approaching you outside the ferry). The hotel also arranged for us a visit to the Blue Lagoon (again at a much lower price that what tourists could find on their own), where we had a chance to see the spectacular coral reef and its exotic marine species. One of the greatest assets of the hotel is its location right on the beautiful Paje beach, ideal for relaxation, jogging or water sports. (First-time visitors are advised not to pay too much attention to locals trying to sell you stuff, as they will not leave you alone until you buy something from them - usually overpriced at 'tourist rates'.) Around the hotel there is a local market, where you can buy spices, local handicraft and other goods. For handicraft, be prepared to negotiate hard, as the initial quoted prices are quite high.

Baobab Africa Lodge Zanzibar er staðsett í Mtende, 35 km frá Zanzibar Butterfly Centre og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Sunny Villa Matemwe er með útisundlaug, verönd, veitingastað og bar í Matemwe. We cannot describe in words how much we enjoyed our time at sunny villa. Our host Samir has been helpful from start to finish in every matter and made our time comfortable. The stuff was really friendly and helpful. We had a sad feeling to leave Sunny villa because it has been the best time ever. We ate every day our lunch in Sunny Villa because the chef made delicious food😋 The room was specious, clean and it had everything. We couldn’t be happier. Best regards Anisa&Oissilat

Daniel Zanzibar Hotel er staðsett í Nungwi, 600 metra frá Royal-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Thank you so much to Sadiqi, Shakira and the rest of the team for taking good care of me during the stay. All of them are so nice and helpful :) The room was very good and cleaned properly every day, the breakfast was delicious, especially pancakes :) I was ordering lunch/dinner in the hotel, the food is sooo tasty and portions are very big. I can say, that food was more delicious, than in restaurants on the beach. Big thanks to everyone, guys!:) And lovely monkey Abu who I'm missing so much;)

Haber Hotel is a fantastic place! Small family hotel located in Matemwe, it offers comfort and quiet atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to all those who want to avoid the big crowded noisy touristic hotels on the coast but in the same time want to stay close to beautiful beaches (nearby you can find Muyuni beach and Matemwe beach). The owners, Kris and Kasha, are great and would do everything to make the stay of the guests unforgettable. The staff is very kind and the whole dynamic of this property is tailored to fit the needs and comfort of the guests. Breakfast is fabulous, served from 8am till noon, for those who like to sleep in late, and for lunch and dinner we could chose delicious options from a rich menu or even off menu. Pets are welcome (the hotel is actually named after Haber, the owners' cute Cocker Spaniel). At any time of our stay we felt welcome, safe, well taken care of and even spoiled.
